Equipment Leasing for Tanning and Spa Equipment

August 24th, 2010

Reasons to Lease

Tantrader highly recommends Freedom Financial for all your equipment leasing needs. There are many reasons to lease as opposed to financing. Leasing is one of the fastest growing ways of financing equipment in business today. Leasing can put that equipment to work for you with real cash flow advantages, and without a major capital investment.

Leasing offers the salon the advantage of flexible terms, which allows the end user to realize various tax advantages, while eliminating concerns over equipment obsolescence. A good lease company should offer easy to use lease programs administered by a dedicated customer service staff, which provide you with additional options in terms of lease structure, allowing the salon owner to maintain a competitive edge.

Make sure your lease is structured to fit within your anticipated cash flow requirements. Different lease offerings include deferred, progress, skip, and seasonal payments.

Fill out the lease application available for download on tantrader . Typical lease amounts range from as little as $5000 -$100,000.

Free up your cash…..and let your profits soar.

PS: Check your credit report frequently for any inaccurate or inconsistant reporting. We suggest getting a copy of your report from all 3 credit reporting agencies. As you know lending institutions are more conservative in their decision making process, but a good credit score and business history will greatly enhance your chances.

Rejuvenessence Lamps

May 24th, 2009

As tanning salons approach their slow season, many will be looking towards other trends in the health and beauty industry as a way to boost sales and diversify their business. With the recent explosion of interest in skin rejuvenation, we look specifically at its most relevant application to the tanning salon; red light phototherapy.

Although highly effective, ablative methodologies for skin rejuvenation (for example, chemical peels, laser resurfacing, microdermabrasion) leave patients with considerable downtime, and come with a risk of scarring or altered pigmentation (Amin et al., 2006).

Red light at 633nm has been found to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. This has a strengthening effect on the skin’s blood vessels, resulting in increased oxygenation, detoxification, and water-retention. The resulting natural cell regeneration is renowned for its anti-aging, anti-wrikle and acne-reducing
results.

Originally the territory of LED machines (specifically, the market leader Omnilux), this technology has recently entered the tanning market. Omnilux themselves have joined forces with Prosun on their skin rejuvenation tanning bed range, in what are effectively normal tanning beds, equipped with rejuvenessence lamps. Other popular variations on this theme include the ETS Rejuvasun, which utilizes Omnilux technology in purely the facial part of its tanning bed, to combine both rejuvenation and tanning into one.

Particularly given the current economic climate, tanning salon owners will be increasingly turning to more cost-effective alternatives for meeting the growing demand for skin rejuvenation. This may be best achieved by equipping pre-existing inventory with the latest addition to the tanning lamp family - rejuvenessence lamps - particularly during the tanning ’slow season,’ or by buying used pre-converted beds

With the recent availability of these lamps, tanning salons need no longer lose out to the spa or medical fields when it comes showing greater health-awareness and meeting customers’ desires for skin rejuvenation; nor are they forced to invest in expensive custom-made rejuvenation beds for this purpose. The recent availability of rejuvenessence lamps now gives tanning salons the freedom to meet the new demand at relatively low-cost, and keep their beds running all year round, like never before.
